Project Summary:
The St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes Upper School Renovation and Addition project involved the expansion and modernization of the school's existing upper school campus, originally constructed in 1991. The project included the construction of a new addition seamlessly integrated with the existing facility, as well as significant renovations to existing academic, administrative, and student-support spaces. The completed two-story high school encompasses approximately 153,751 square feet and was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Silver certification, reflecting the school's commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management.
Doyle Systems' Scope of Work:
Doyle Systems provided the full plumbing and mechanical systems for the renovation, supporting the building’s expanded educational, kitchen, and common-use spaces. The mechanical scope included Daikin VRF cooling systems, dedicated outdoor air systems, rooftop air handling units, kitchen makeup air equipment, exhaust systems, ductwork, insulation, and testing and air balancing. The plumbing scope also incorporated a solar-heated glycol piping distribution system serving the building’s domestic water-heating infrastructure, contributing to the project’s overall sustainability goals.
